Autism & Mental Health Services Project

Autism-specific training for mainstream mental health professionals, mental health organisations, and general practitioners.

These interactive sessions aim to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to deliver support to autistic adolescent and adult clients who have co-occurring mental health conditions.

Training will incorporate the nature of co-occurring mental health conditions of autistic people, differential diagnosis of autism and mental health conditions, and adaptations to therapeutic strategies to support their specific needs.

Sessions are developed in collaboration with autistic people, including a consultant with lived experience of autism and mental health conditions, family members and carers, mental health practitioners and general practitioners.
