AQ School Brightwater Family Opening: A Heartwarming Celebration

Yesterday, Thursday September 11, was a milestone for AQ School Brightwater, as we welcomed families to celebrate the ‘official’ opening of the campus!

We were honoured to host our Board Chair Neil Makepeace, directors Belinda Nankivell and Sarah-Jane Peterschlingmann, CEO Frances Scodellaro, Principal Cathy Drummond, and members of the AQ Executive—alongside the vibrant community that brings our school to life.
The ceremony began with senior student Jackson Wishaw’s moving Acknowledgment of Country. CEO Frances Scodellaro expressed heartfelt thanks to the inaugural P&F, as well as to the staff and students whose hard work made this day possible, before handing over to Neil Makepeace who announced the school officially open.
It was more than an opening—it was the beginning of many great stories at AQ School Brightwater.
